Terms of Attendance for the Pillars of Pride Gala 2025
These terms (“Agreement”) govern your attendance at and/or participation in the Pride Center Gala 2025 (the “Gala”).
By purchasing a ticket to the Gala, you agree to these terms, forming a legal contract between you and the Pride Center of the Capital Region. If purchasing a ticket on behalf of another, you accept responsibility for ensuring that the attendee understands and accepts these terms, warranting that they have agreed to them.
1. Event Admission
1.1 Admittance. Your ticket grants you admission to the Gala. All other expenses associated with your attendance (including without limitation any travel or accommodation expenses) shall be borne solely by you, and the Pride Center of the Capital Region accepts no liability for such costs.
1.2 Termination. The Pride Center of the Capital Region reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to request your removal from the Gala if your behavior disrupts or hinders the enjoyment of the event by others.
1.3 Media. By attending, you acknowledge and agree to grant the Pride Center of the Capital Region the right to record, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media and to use, distribute, or broadcast such media globally and in perpetuity without further approval or compensation. This includes the right to edit or use the media alone or with other information, as well as the right to authorize others to use it.
1.4 Event Content. The Pride Center of the Capital Region reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the Gala, including but not limited to, the event name, theme, content, program, performers, venue, and schedule.
2. Fees
2.1 Payment. The ticket fee(s) are due upon purchase. If payment is declined or insufficient for any reason, the Pride Center of the Capital Region reserves the right to deny admission without liability.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 Non-Refundable. All ticket purchases for the Gala are final and non-refundable. If you need to transfer your ticket to another individual, please contact the organizers to update the attendee’s name.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Ownership. All intellectual property rights to the Gala, including event content and materials, are owned by the Pride Center of the Capital Region and/or event sponsors or presenters. You may not use or reproduce any trademarks, trade names, or other materials without prior written permission from the Pride Center of the Capital Region.
4.2 No Transfer of Rights. Nothing in this Agreement grants you any legal or beneficial ownership of trademarks or intellectual property belonging to the Pride Center of the Capital Region or its affiliates.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1 No Warranties. The Pride Center of the Capital Region disclaims any warranties related to the Gala, including implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or timeliness. The Pride Center and its affiliates are not responsible for any reliance you may place on information provided during the event.
5.2 Limited Liability. To the extent permitted by law, the Pride Center of the Capital Region and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising directly or indirectly from the Gala or related materials.
6. Governing Law
6.1 Jurisdiction. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of New York courts.
